We Meet at Last 30/8/11

It is Tuesday the 30th of August, 2011; a seemingly ordinary day for Model Farms High School. The bell rings at precisely 2.08 pm, signalling for everyone to move on to the last class of the day. However, for our year ten visual design class, this day would have a far from ordinary end. As we entered our classroom, we were udderly surprised to find a giant 3D cow in our way. We knew we would be getting the cow, (fondly named Bessie) but we hadn’t realised how big she would be (or the fact that she is 3D).
Getting Bessie out of the classroom proved to be a bit of a challenge

We decided to take Bessie for a walk through the school, so she could get to know the place. After carefully backing her out of our classroom, we took her to her locker and to the kitchens. She was quick to get involved in the year 12 Food Tech class that was whipping up a storm. She donned her apron and hat, picked up a wooden spoon, and started to cook.

Next, we took Bessie to the Ag Plot. She enjoyed getting amongst the plants. Mr Newton, our Agriculture teacher, used Bessie to teach us how to milk a cow. A few students got the opportunity to ‘milk’ her.

...not sure what's going on here

Unfortunately, we didn’t get time to take Bessie to meet her fellow cows today, perhaps tomorrow.
